AGM
Please note that the Annual General Meeting of the accociation will be held of Friday 29th February 2008 in Troon Council Chambers at 7.30pm, followed by refreshments.
TALK
Your committee has organised a talk by Miles Gaythwaite for Friday 8th February 2008. o The venue is in the South Beach Hotel, Troon, commencing at 7.30pm. o Miles describes his talk as "How to avoid being sent to the volvano on La Reunion - a light hearted look at some of the oddities of buying and running a property in France."

VILLENEUVE sur LOT TWINNING ASSOCIATION

I have been advised that a party from the above assiciation (no firm numbers to date) will be visiting Troon during April to mark the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Twinning Agreement.

The French will be arriving on Friday 23rd April and departing on Tuesday 27th April 2008. o A subcommittee has been formed to make the necessary enquiries ect for their visit, o We would hope to have an outlin of their programme to discuss at the AGM.

Should you be willing to be a host family or wish to entertain for a meal ect, would you please advise at the AGM.
